Focus: The Maintenance Work Activity Coordinator (WAC) is responsible for successful performance against the Olin Maintenance Work Process, with particular focus on job execution and coordination of scheduled and emergency work. This position works directly with the maintenance provider to ensure the work is carried out safely in an effective and productive manner.
Maintenance Work Activity Coordinator (WAC) Essential Job Functions:
- Owns the maintenance work execution phases for internal and external resources, and is accountable for the success of the scheduled work progression
- Plans and executes all emergency or high priority work, considering EH&S and plant production goals
- Accountable for the safety of all Olin employees and Contractor workforce on the assigned plant and making sure that all ORC and maintenance procedures and standards are followed on every job
- Reviews and ensures completeness of job packages and material verification before handing to the foremen for execution
- Acts as the QC (Quality Control) focal point for all maintenance jobs
- Manages rental equipment through service provider. Troubleshoots any payment issues or roadblocks with the requested Purchase Orders
Maintenance Work Activity Coordinator (WAC) Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance role that reflects progressive responsibility and knowledge; process or chemical plant experience preferred
- Strong mechanical background and multi-crafts job experience
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
- Well organized, able to multitask and manage several different jobs at the same time. Able to change priorities quickly in order to meet different deadlines at a short notice
- Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint; SAP Plant Maintenance knowledge preferred
- Proven effective verbal and written communication skills, as well as trouble-shooting, analytical, and presentation skills
- Prior Olin experience in a relevant position preferred
- Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and possess a valid US Driver's license
