Shipping Coordinator First Shift 7AM-3PM $26.45/hr Who we are looking for: We are currently searching for a Shipping Coordinator. Reporting to the Shipping Manager, this person will be responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, Operator and shipping desk coordination, ensuring shipping employees are properly scheduled and performing work to meet shipping needs, coordinating driver activities, receive all plant paperwork into the JDE system along with shipping administration duties. What you'll do: The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role within a Manufacturing environment. Working with a business system-based company is a plus. Scheduling, processing paperwork, and interacting with drivers for all inbound and outbound shipments. Support daily production and work with leadership on problem solving to ensure schedules are met. Assist in the preparation and control of records, statistics, and reports as requested. Work closely with production and distribution teams to standardize processes, eliminate waste and optimize productivity. Ad hoc reporting as needed for production, inventory levels, quality and scheduled compliance reports. Coordination of scheduling of shipping employees to ensure ability to meet shipping needs on an ongoing basis. Handling all receiving responsibilities as it corresponds with entering receipts into JDE. Other duties as assigned. What you'll bring: Minimum of 2 to 4 years' experience in manufacturing and shipping environment or similar role and responsibilities. Microsoft Office including Excel. Proven analytical and math skills. Must be team oriented and able to work in a cross-functional environment. Excellent organizational and communications skills. Within 3 months: Complete any required training. Have developed relationships with the key stakeholders for this role. Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time.
