Position: Intern, Creative Media Department: Content (Creative) Level: Intern Reporting Relationship: Creative Manager Status: Part-Time Position Overview The Carolina Panthers Intern, Creative Media will play a key role in assisting with the creative output of various multimedia projects from early concept stages through production. The candidate will assist with execution of video production needs for organic digital content, branded content, and content to support various business units of the Panthers organization. Role, Responsibilities, and Expectations:
- Assist with creation of video content that supports the production needs of various partner Content Departments, capable of adding technical prowess and creativity to a wide array of projects, including:
- Producing first in class Community and Corporate Partnerships content that contributes to the broader goals of the Panthers content strategy.
- Assist in producing content that enhancing the role of Panthers Entertainment team accounts in the broader content strategy (SirPurr Mascot, TopCats Cheerleaders, PurrCussion Drumline, Black and Blue Crew)
- Assist with production of custom video projects to support the business, including projects in support of new stadium development, ownership priorities, and executive team priorities.
- Available to serve as gameday video shooter and editor for all home games and select away games, gathering and producing the footage needed for various multimedia projects.
- Work alongside broader "Content Creative" department to advance multimedia business planning surrounding team and League tentpole moments. Work alongside Marketing department, Partnerships department, and others to advance content plans surrounding key Club-specific and League-driven Marketing objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years in a hands-on creative production role
- 1+ year working internally for a sports team, conference or league
- Video shooting and cinematography experience
- Video editing skills, with experience editing in Adobe environments
- Ability and desire to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends and holidays is a must. This role is expected to work every home game during the NFL season, plus travel and special events.
