Responsibilities
Position Summary: The Wynparts Order Picker picks same day orders or projects by accurately identifying and pulling materials and delivers them to the requested destination. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Picking parts of various size, shape, and weight according to sales orders
- Placing parts carefully in kits to avoid damage
- Delivering part orders to the requested packaging area
- Meeting expectations for number and accuracy of sales orders picked
- May be required to use material handling equipment forklift, stand-up forklift, Big Joe; following all safety rules
- Maintaining safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat and complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Reading and maintaining information in the inventory system, ensuring accurate records
- Employees are responsible for complying with all requirements of Daifuku's QMS policies and procedures.
- Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience operating forklift equipment a plus
- Experience with inventory/shipping a plus
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:
- Good computer skills
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and write English and use basic math
- Good organization skills
- Good time management skills
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented

ADA Requirements:
- Medium work: Exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
- Standing: Remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time.
- Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.
- Lifting: Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires the substantial use of the upper extremities and back muscles.
- Fingering: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with whole hand or arm as in handling.
- Grasping: Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm.
- Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; those activities where detailed or important spoken instructions must be conveyed to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
- Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction and having the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and making fine discriminations in sound.
- Repetitive motions: Making substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
Visual Acuity:
- The worker is required to: have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
- The worker is required to: have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles.
- The worker is required to: have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned or to make general observations of facilities or structures.
Job Conditions:
- The worker is subject to: inside environmental conditions: Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
