Resident Services Coordinator- PART-TIME POSITION

At Gorman & Company, we believe that our people are our most important asset. We are currently seeking a Part-Time Resident Services Coordinator to join our team at Ruby Vista, our brand-new 98-unit LIHTC community located in Denver, Colorado.

As a Resident Services Coordinator, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. You'll be responsible for connecting residents with services, activities, and community resources that support stability, self-sufficiency, and a vibrant community environment. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in affordable housing through direct service and community engagement.


As a Resident Service Coordinator, you will:


  • Establish partnerships with various community agencies to deliver services to our residents.
  • Research and study available community resources and their eligibility requirements.
  • Develop programs and services based on resident and team member surveys.
  • Engage with residents, informing them of available services, application procedures, training opportunities, and community events.
  • Create a community calendar of programs and events.
  • Host the community food bank, including picking up food from various agencies.
  • Maintain resident confidentiality while following all Fair Housing and LLT laws.


Resident Services Coordinator Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in social work, Sociology, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field preferred.
  • Two years of similar experience.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Schedule: This position requires approximately 25 hours of work per week.
  • Ability to work independently and create projects or programs autonomously.
  • Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with residents, property managers, and community agency employees.
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills.
