This position is responsible for supporting a successful operation of timely and accurate payments that are made to our Inland carriers. Individual will be responsible for updating, entering, and auditing rates from our transportation carriers. This role contributes to the success of TOTE Maritime Alaska as an integral part of the team in providing excellent customer service and the successful operation of transportation in the L48, managing cost and benchmarking carrier performance.

Essential Job Responsibilities AND Results

Inland Transportation:

• Maintain costs in back office system(s).
• Validate invoices related to inland movements.
• Assists in accessorial charge issues with vendor.
• Produces and analyzes data for both internal and external clients.
• Verification of cost code allocation.
• Provide customer service to internal and external customers.
• Correspond with vendor relating to invoice/payment related issues.
• Work interactively within a Team to maximize overall performance.
• Responsible for process refinement and enhancement.
• Other tasks and projects as assigned.

Qualifications (Education, Experience and Certifications)

• Associate degree preferred
• 4 years transportation experience preferre

KNOWLEDGE, Skills And Abilities

• Must be a team player.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize.

Typically works in an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation and a normal range of temperature and noise level.

Most work requires normal physical effort.

MANUAL DEXTERITY

Requires intermediate use of personal computer (word processing and spreadsheets) for compiling reports, statistical data and other similar documents.

The salary range is $44,000-72,000 with an anticipated hiring range of $52,000-62,000. Pay will be based on several factors including the candidate's education, work experience, work location and specific job duties.
