Job Title: Instructor of Welding
Salary range: MIN: $43,806/yr. - MAX: $56,947/yr. for a 180-day contract.
Typical Hours of Work: 180 days an academic year with possibility for overload. Hours vary based on class schedule.

- You like teaching welding courses at our locations to include instruction in safety, preparation, cutting, and joining similar and dissimilar metals by welding using gas or electrical processes, where Oxygen/acetylene and AC/DC electric are the major techniques used.
- You enjoy developing course syllabi, lessons, assignments, tests and the grading of assignments.
- You are able to perform Academic advising and engage students in order to foster academic success as well as participation in student learning outcome assessments.
- You are willing to participate in college, division, and department meetings, committees, and events.
- You enjoy mentoring other faculty and aiding in the marketing of College programs
To be Considered You'll Need:
- A minimum of a High School Diploma
- 3G D1.1 GMAW AWS Certification, 6G GTAW ASME certifications with extensive TIG experience on various metals.
- Minimum of four years, full-time equivalent, welding experience.
- The ability to teach welding courses at our locations to include instruction in safety, preparation, cutting, and joining similar and dissimilar metals by welding using gas or electrical processes.
- Knowledge of the proper use of oxygen/acetylene and AC/DC electric processes.
- Considerable knowledge of overall welding processes, certifications, materials, and equipment.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and assemble, input, and organize data using a computer.
- Exceptional communication and technical instructional skills.
Preferred Qualifications (although not required):
Associate's degree or higher in a related field
