Salary: $140,000 - $150,000

Job Summary

Join Compass Group USAas aSenior Executive Chefand lead the charge in delivering exceptional catering experiences. This role is ideal for a culinary leader who thrives in high-volume, fast-paced environments and is passionate about crafting memorable events through food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead all culinary aspects of catering operations, from concept to execution, ensuring excellence in quality, presentation, and service
  • Develop innovative, seasonal menus tailored to a wide range of events and client preferences
  • Train, mentor, and inspire a high-performing culinary team to deliver consistent, top-tier results
  • Collaborate with event planners and clients to design customized culinary experiences
  • Uphold and advance standards in sustainability, wellness, and culinary innovation
  • Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and cost control standards
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Culinary degree preferred; Bachelor's in Food Services Management or related field is a plus
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in catering or high-volume culinary leadership
  • Demonstrated success in planning and executing large-scale and premium catering events
  • Strong leadership and team development capabilities
  • In-depth knowledge of catering trends, food safety, cost management, and logistics
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and catering/event management software
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of staff and clientele
  • ServSafe Certification required
