Under supervision, the Research Finance Analyst supports administrative leadership with short and long-range financial planning for the Community Psychiatry Program (CPP) within the Department of Psychiatry. Provides tactical and strategic advice and guidance to the Administrative Vice Chair, Associate Business Officer, CPP Program Director, and CPP Executive Director. Coordinates annual budgeting, control adjustments, and reporting on research faculty compensation. Administers internal controls to assess and manage risk in project finance and faculty research program support and deficit management. Manages, prepares, and administers research division budgets and recommends opportunity improvements for financial planning and control. Monitors division adherence to approved budgets. Supports Fund Managers as needed with complex analysis of research faculty financial portfolios. Develops reporting tools and supports Fund Managers with preparation of faculty financial statements and ad hoc division summary reports. The scope and complexity of this position requires the ability to work autonomously. Accountability for errors and problem resolution is required. The position will help to coordinate the activity of ad hoc teams when deemed appropriate. The incumbent will be responsible for financial oversight and decision making of CPP subunits that includes: CPP County contract, Clinical Service Agreements, Training Affiliation Agreements, Community Psychiatry Research Center, CPP supported general adult residency and child-adolescent fellowship funding slots, PMHNP advanced fellowship program, and various federal and state grants. In addition to other responsibilities, the incumbent will be a resource for resolving faculty salary issues and preparing analyses of faculty salary sources, adjustment of salaries consistent with negotiated agreements. Incumbent may perform audit and analytical tasks, including variance analysis, fund management and reconciliation of ledger accounts. Incumbent will understand foundational knowledge on research and clinical activities of DOP faculty. Assist with other project and miscellaneous duties as required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $77,000 - $139,200 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $36.88 - $66.67 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). |
