Your Role at Baxter

As a Clinical Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for providing clinical and technical expertise, best-practice standards, and professional skills to support Sales and Services engagements for the Baxter Care Communications product portfolio of Digital Health products. You will collaborate with the Clinical Integrations Manager, will work internally in close partnership with Sales, Clinical Solutions, Project Managers, and Services and Support, and will work with customer clinical and technical staff to design and implement solutions.

  • TRAVEL: Up to 80% travel, including overnight travel. 100% REMOTE

What you'll be doing
  • Collaborate with team members to architect accurate clinical assessment documents for customer-facing integration and alarm management middleware engagements
  • Consult on and configure alarm management middleware settings based on the clinical design workbook
  • Manage multiple, simultaneous projects from assessment through implementation for clinical integration consulting programs
  • Interface at all levels within a customer's organization and coordinate technical information and healthcare ecosystem requirements
  • Assist other team members with tasks required to implement delivery of clinical integration consulting programs
  • Interact daily with customers through in-person, phone, and web conference activities
  • Provide input to product management, market planning, and technical development of Clinical Solutions
  • Incorporate quality and continuous improvement as part of overall job performance; adhering and training to Baxter's QMS policies and procedures
  • Maintain up-to-date understanding of healthcare trends and technical developments
What you'll bring
  • Degree/certification in Business, IT, Project Management, Clinical Informatics, or related experience
  • Ability to articulate, design, and successfully implement clinical technology
  • Help improve the acceptance of all Baxter Care Communication programs through facilitation
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills and ability to build written content with little direction
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite
  • Must be able to work in team environment or independently making clinical consulting decisions without guidance
  • Strong conflict resolution skills, including the abilities to negotiate and influence others
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills to understand key customer clinical issues and define how IT solutions will solve challenges facing our customers today
  • Experience with standards development based on healthcare industry trends
  • Ability to react to changes in priorities, demands, timelines, and scope promptly and efficiently, through analytical and problem-solving techniques
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and implement tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Customer minded - actively evaluate and work to improve the customer experience

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a base salary range of $72,000 to $99,000 plus an annual incentive bonus. The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
