Shipping Support

The Shipping Support role is responsible for ensuring efficient and accurate shipping operations by correcting packaging details and order errors, handling stock movements, coordinating with truck drivers, and supporting other business needs as they arise. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the flow of goods and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and precise shipment processing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Packaging & Order Accuracy: Review and correct packaging details and order discrepancies to ensure accuracy before shipment.
• Picking & Packing: Process orders in SAP, picking and packing items as required.
• Stock Management: Put stock away in designated areas to maintain an organized warehouse environment.
• Coordination with Truck Drivers: Communicate with truck drivers to ensure smooth pickups and deliveries.
• General Warehouse Support: Assist with any other business needs that arise, including inventory checks, material handling, and problem resolution.
• Process Improvement: Identify and report inefficiencies in shipping processes to improve overall workflow.

Qualifications:

• Experience in shipping, warehouse, or logistics operations preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office programs (Word, Outlook, etc.) for data management and communication.
• Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Physical ability to lift and move packages as required

Work Environment:

This role requires working in a warehouse setting with exposure to shipping docks and stock storage areas. The candidate should be comfortable standing, walking, and lifting throughout the workday.
