The Architect (non-licensed) prepares architectural drawings, renderings and design assignments under general supervision of a senior licensed Architect. He or she receives instruction on

specific assignment objectives and independently provides solutions for these objectives. Job duties performed under general supervision include: Performs architectural assignments under general supervision. Coordinates drawings with drawings of other disciplines. Coordinates specifications with drawings to meet project requirements. Relates building design concepts to building codes, zoning ordinances and other external issues. Assists on consulting with manufacturers, researches and proposes materials and products. Participates in construction administration including responding to RFI's, preparing sketches and addendums (CCD's), visiting the construction site to gather information, prepare punch lists, and answer contractor questions as owner's representative. Advances designs developed by others and creates and develops planning and design concepts for small projects under general supervision. Assists with assessment of design requirements. Details internal features of a building. Has knowledge of basic drawing details and researches more complex details. Prepares presentation drawings and otherwise assists in presentations both internally and externally. Regularly works with design software (CAD, Revit, Sketchup, etc.) as well as

Microsoft Office. Regularly travels through the region to support projects, less than 10% of the work time. Telecommuting is permitted, up to two days per week.

Minimum requirements: a bachelor's degree (foreign equivalent degrees accepted) in architecture, or a closely related architecture or design field of study and 2 years of experience in any related occupation

working on architectural assignments. Basic annual pay range is eighty-five thousand six hundred ninety-six dollars to ninety-seven thousand two hundred ninety dollars per year for full-time employment and standard company benefits.
