Histotechnologist - 40 hours/week

Job Summary

• Under the general supervision of the Pathologists and Cytology/Pathology Supervisor, and within defined departmental policies and procedures, processes and stains all specimens submitted for histological analysis.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education
  • Associates or Baccalaureate degree required
• Experience
  • At least one year prior Histology experience required.
• Licensure and/or Certification
  • HT/HTL (ASCP) certification preferred.
• Skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must be detail-oriented.
  • Computer proficiency required.
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information required.
