Control Panel Technician
Location: Mandeville, LA
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, overtime available
Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour (based on experience)
Travel Expectations: Up to 25%, traveling to local job sites

We're looking for a motivated and hands-on Control Panel Technician (Entry Level) to join our growing team in Mandeville, LA. In this role, you'll learn how to assemble and wire custom industrial control panels that power critical systems across multiple industries. What You'll Do
- Assemble and wire components for industrial control panels and junction boxes
- Read and interpret construction drawings, wiring schematics, and layout designs
- Mount components to back panels and enclosures using hand tools
- Route and bundle wires and cables according to safety and wiring standards
- Perform red-line markups and communicate design updates to engineering
- Document time, parts, and changes clearly and accurately
- Maintain clean and organized workspaces and uphold safety practices
What You Bring
Knowledge & Skills
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics
- Experience using multimeters and basic diagnostic tools
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and basic photo editing tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking
- Team-oriented, dependable, and detail-focused
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work overtime when needed
- Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical school or associate degree in electronics - a plus
- 1+ year of control panel wiring experience - a plus
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable standing for extended periods, and working in kneeling, stooped, or confined positions
- Will work in both indoor shop settings and occasional outdoor environments in varying weather conditions
