Schedule Details:This is a part-time (0.6 FTE) position, 48 hours per pay period, working primarily 0800 to 1630, Monday through Friday with weekend rotation (1 of every 6) and holiday rotation.


What You Will Do:

.As the care of cancer patients continues to be challenged with high-cost therapies, drug shortages, evolving regulations, and dwindling reimbursement, the clinical oncology pharmacist will be relied upon to provide support for the clinical team to improve overall cancer care and patient quality of life in all phases of their treatment. In addition, provide direct patient education for chemotherapy/biotherapy regimens and follow-up monitoring for toxicity management and compliance with oral therapies.

Requirements:



  • Specialized expertise in Oncology Pharmacy
  • Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) preferred
  • Hold currente license to practice pharmacy in the State of Wisconsin (or license eligible)
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) required
  • Valid WI driver's license and in good standing
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish preferred
