Title: Identity and Access Management Technician

Location: Columbia, SC

Durations: 12 months, likely extensions

C2 Eligibility is required (Must be a US Citizen)

Job Summary:

Duties:


  • Under direct supervision, assist in and become proficient in the responsibilities of identity management for user accounts and protection of system resources.
  • Provide administration support for enterprise system access. Setup, maintain and terminate system access on multiple security architectures and within multiple secure applications.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate information security policies, standards, guidelines and procedures.
  • 50% Learn to create, modify, delete, maintain, and monitor system access identification for corporate email system, LAN, enterprise server (RACF) applications and subsystems, remote access, web browsing, and/or application level security databases. Assist in the review, verification, and implementation of security requests.
  • 30% Perform system access reviews to ensure compliance with corporate security policies and standards. Participate in related project work as needed such as documentation of work, process implementations and procedure updating.
  • 20% Create and/or review data access reports to research service requests or issues. May also be asked to review reports to ensure compliance with corporate information security policies, standards, guidelines and procedures.


Day to Day:

  • The onboarding team oversees provisioning access to new users and employee transfers via a Security Access Template or model after based off security policies and procedures.


Team Info/Team name: Identity Access Management (Data Security)

  • There are a total of 14 team members. They work on various projects, i.e., Exchange, Security Access Templates, Onboarding new users and third parties.
  • This team works with various teams throughout the client organization. Excellent opportunity to network with other technical areas.


Job Requirements:

Required Experience: See Education.

Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree or 4 years of job related work experience or 2 years of job related experience plus an associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree
