The Electrical Engineer will play a critical role in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment. What You'll Do:
- Develop and design electrical systems, circuits, and components based on project requirements, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Perform load calculations, power distribution analysis, and other design-related calculations to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Build prototypes of electrical systems, perform testing, and troubleshoot issues to ensure the systems function as designed.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and design specifications for project stakeholders.
- Work closely with project managers, mechanical engineers, and other team members to integrate electrical systems into larger projects.
- Ensure all electrical designs adhere to safety standards, codes (such as NEC, IEC), and any other regulatory requirements.
- Stay up to date with advancements in electrical engineering technologies and propose innovations that improve system performance, cost, and energy efficiency.
- Conduct tests to ensure that systems meet required performance standards, and work on improving the quality and reliability of electrical systems.
What You Bring:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering (bachelor's or higher).
- Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer or in a similar role within the defense industry.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical, or other similar electrical design software.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuits, power distribution, and control systems.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical problems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-engineering stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Will be required to qualify for and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance.
