Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Vancouver, WA. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Performs testing and troubleshooting of electronic equipment to meet production schedules and performance standards.
  • Receives instructions on daily work and new assignments.
  • Duties and tasks are standardized but what is performed will vary day to day.
  • Performs various production assembly operations on electronic components and sub-assemblies.
  • Uses test procedures, drawings, schematics and verbal/written instructions to test and troubleshoot units.
  • Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature.
  • Communicates openly and effectively in a professional manner.
  • Understands and follows all safety requirements.
  • Understands and follows all ISO practices and procedures.
  • Maintains fixturing, performs calibration, preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance.
  • Assist with training other AE employees in established processes.
  • Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
  • Documents test results accurately.
  • Act as the technical interface with other departments.
  • Models professional and positive work ethics.
  • Considers the impact of quality on the customers when making decisions.
  • Package units built in production
  • Pull kits from stockroom
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Many tasks are repetitive in motion and include the use of electronic assembly equipment.
  • Works under direct supervision.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00/hr

Shift: Monday-Friday 6am-2pm

Hours: 40 hrs/week

Length: Temp to hire

Job Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Associates Degree in electronics
  • Minimum 2 years of technician experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Soldering.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in operating computers.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in SAP.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing electronic test technician.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in ESD practices.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in electro-mechanical testing and circuit analysis.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in electrical circuits and assemblies testing.
  • The ability to recognize nonconformities.
  • Ability to effectively work in a team environment.
  • Works in a manufacturing environment which may be noisy and fast paced.
  • Ability to perform basic reading, writing, and math functions.
  • Ability to perform basic electro/mechanical assembly skills.
  • Component Identification and the ability to read technical assembly documentation and schematics.
  • Proven ability and experience maintaining flexibility and being able to adapt in a team environment.
  • Minimal problem solving and interfacing with other departments.

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.

  • Overtime (OT) may be required in times of increased production.
