Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in Orlando, FL. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Overall responsibility for executing electrical engineering in our projects - securing the fulfillment of customer contracts and related specifications.
  • Leading the electrical execution team in close cooperation and communication with the project engineering manager, general project management, and other relevant stakeholders (your line manager).
  • Manage and monitor our internal and external suppliers, including handling the electrical, I&C, and related layout interfaces.
  • Project reporting regarding engineering progress, technical clarifications, and risks or opportunities.
  • Implementation, steering, and control of the electrical design process, focusing on related concepts, technical specification preparation, and BoQs.
  • Identification and proactive management of risks, opportunities, and claims.
  • Monitoring on-time delivery of all deliverables, quality, and electrical engineering hour consumption, and ensuring our EHS standards are met.
  • Supporting the construction site during installation and commissioning to solve upcoming problems.
  • Supporting the identification and minimizing non-conformance costs (NCCs).

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $53.94 / hr.

Hours: 40 hrs/Week. (1st shift).

Length: Contract (12 months).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Energy Management.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in managing the electrical engineering of large Power Plants, Data Centers, HVDC, or Substation projects.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Electrical Power Systems, Motor Control Centers, MV and LV Switchgears, Transformers, Converters, Rectifiers, Single Line and Three Line Diagrams.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in project management and managing intercultural teams.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in the execution of solution projects (proposal and execution phase).
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in HVDC transmission.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in intercultural collaboration and cooperation with international clients, consortium partners, and suppliers.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Energy Management.
  • Advanced English language skills and Spanish language skills.
  • Proactive communication and good coordination skills.
