Summary

The Senior Investor Relations Specialist plays a key role in supporting Griffis Residential's fundraising success and fostering long-term investor relationships. This position is responsible for managing investor account setup, onboarding, administration, and communication, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, professionalism, and responsiveness. Working under the direction of the Vice President of Investor Administration and Reporting, this role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams and is instrumental in streamlining investor services and maintaining the firm's high standards of excellence in investor relations.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities



  • Lead the setup and administration of investor accounts through the department's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Support the fundraising process from initial investor interest through fund closings
  • Manage the preparation, accuracy, and archival of all subscription documentation
  • Oversee investor verification and compliance processes for new and existing investors
  • Coordinate and ensure timely communication related to capital calls, distributions, financial disclosures, Net Asset Value Statement (NAVs), K-1s, and annual reports
  • Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from prospective and current investors
  • Maintain accuracy and quality control for all investor communications and portal content
  • Enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the department's CRM, identifying opportunities to improve systems and minimize risk
  • Archive all fund-related corporate materials in alignment with compliance standards and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and manage effective electronic and physical filing systems for efficient retrieval of investor documentation
  • Coordinate logistics for advisory committee meetings and annual investor meetings

Preferred Education and Experience



  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Corporate Communications is preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in investor relations, financial services, legal, accounting, or related regulated industries
  • Proven success in fundraising support and investor account administration, with a demonstrable track record of results
