The Opportunity We are seeking a Technical Integration Engineer to join our Firm. Within this position, you will be responsible for setting standards and implementing technologies for the Firm, analyzing and recommending new technologies, and deploying approved projects. This position will be based in our White Plains office and has a hybrid working schedule. Please note that the Firm will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position. As the Technical Integration Engineer you will:
- Participate in large projects of moderate complexity involving installation or conversion.
- Provide expert judgment and analysis for the design, development, and implementation of technical products and systems.
- Resolve complex technical issues and conduct advanced research.
- Recommend alternatives to development and design to improve quality of products and/or procedures.
- Develop technical documentation and participate in the establishment of security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure conformity with information systems and business objectives and strategy.
- Provide technical third level support 24x7.
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective work relationships with others.
- Manage Firm resources responsibly.
- Comply with and understand Firm operation, policies, and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Thorough working knowledge of Citrix products
- In-depth understanding of Microsoft operating systems, Microsoft Active Directory, Virtualization technologies (such as VMWARE), Microsoft Group Policies, Anti-Virus solutions (such as Windows Defender), Mobility management systems
- Experience supporting multi-site enterprise environment
- Experience with remote software distribution (e.g., SCCM)
- Experience with computer imaging solutions (e.g., Ghost)
- Knowledge of relevant firm computer software programs (e.g., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), with the ability to learn new software and operating systems
- Networking protocols and concepts including routing, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, PXE
- Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Demonstrates close attention to detail
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and planning skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities
- Ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality
- Ability to organize and prioritize work
- Ability to work well in a demanding and fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well independently as well as effectively within a team
- Ability to use discretion and exercise independent and sound judgment
- Ability to work weekends, nights and after hours
- Experience with Scripting - batch, PowerShell and VB
- Flexibility to adjust hours and work the hours necessary to meet operating and business needs
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of five years' network experience supporting Microsoft operating systems in a large network environment, five years' hands-on experience with SCCM and Imaging software solution
