Location This is a hybrid (virtual/onsite) position with required onsite days on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday assigned to the Livonia Service Center located in Livonia,MI. The selected candidate must be within a commutable distance or willing to relocate (relocation package is available for those that qualify). General Summary of ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Manager Supplier Diversity and Sustainability is responsible for developing, implementing a strategy that ensures the organization's category strategies and practices are diverse, equitable and inclusive. This role will focus on identifying new and established diverse suppliers who have demonstrated the performance capability of the category can meet the needs of the category. This role will focus on establishing, fostering and managing strong supplier relationships with minority-owned, women-owned, veteran-owned, LGBTQ +-owned and small businesses while measuring performance to key performance indicators for respective categories. They will work in partnership with Supply Chain Category Management & Supplier Quality Team, the Strategy & Sustainability and External Affairs teams and other stakeholders to develop and execute diverse supplier strategies and sourcing activities. Responsible for Supply Chain's Environmental and Social Governance (ESG) program development and oversight and will be responsible for Consumers Energy's diversity reporting for the federal contracting program where applicable.
