Production Planning Specialist

Position Summary: The Production Planning Job Family is responsible for optimizing the use of resources and meeting production schedules and standards including: planning and controlling production schedules and coordinating with material requirements; researching, evaluating, and recommending changes to production processes, systems, technology, or equipment to enhance organization's production capabilities; plans departmental workflows to establish sequence and lead time of each production operation; expedites operations that delay and alters schedules; analyzes plant capacity and production requisition data to determine manufacturing processes and required resources.

Work You'll Do:

* Run Prints and stuff Work Order Packets, distribute Work Orders
* Monitor Engineering Change Notices (ECN's)
* Monitor Work Order Department Transfers, and prepare work orders for outside process
* Request to Purchasing to cut PO and Expedite parts out for outside process
* Close Work Orders and ensure they have reached the final destination
Locate Lost Parts for Manufacturing and generate Stock Orders

Basic Qualifications:

* 2+ years of related industry experience or a combination of equivalent education and experience
* Versed in Microsoft Office Applications

Preferred Qualifications:

* Global ERP
* VBA
