ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Performs visual and electrical tests of rubber safety items in accordance with American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) Standards.
  • Receives, ships, verifies, and matches packing slips for goods received and shipped. Utilizes shipping software and transports materials to various shipping points as needed.
  • Prepares materials for testing by organizing goods to be tested, cleaning materials before testing and providing necessary paperwork.
  • Provides exceptional customer service to customers dropping off and picking up orders.
  • Keys data related to the testing process in software.
  • Provides support with annual inventory and interim inventory counts.
  • The ability to handle stress and work well with others are essential functions of this position.
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
  • Due to our obligation to provide continuous, reliable electric service to our customers, the ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance and the ability to work outside your regularly scheduled office hours when necessary is an essential function of the job.



Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future.

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or GED, plus 0 to 2 years related experience and/or training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.



  • Technician I - High School diploma or GED plus 0 to 2 years' experience. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Technician II - High School diploma or GED plus 2 years' experience. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
