The Cybersecurity Director establishes and administers the overall strategies and procedures for the cybersecurity function across the organization. This role is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive cybersecurity program aligned with DoD standards, managing cybersecurity risks, and promoting a culture of cybersecurity awareness. The Director develops cybersecurity strategies and objectives, as well as budgets, policies, and procedures to support a robust cybersecurity infrastructure.

Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Establishes and manages the cybersecurity program in accordance with DoD standards and requirements.

  • Evaluates cybersecurity risks regularly and implements appropriate mitigation measures.

  • Promotes cybersecurity awareness throughout the organization.

  • Develops and implements cybersecurity strategies and objectives.

  • Prepares and manages budgets, policies, and procedures to support cybersecurity infrastructure.

  • Oversees the security of an integrated network as well as dispersed network groups.

  • Manages a geographically dispersed workforce to ensure consistent application of cybersecurity measures.

Required Skills and Education:

  • Experience managing a dispersed workforce in support of securing an integrated network and distributed networks

  • Seven (7) years of information technology experience supporting DoD efforts

  • Five (5) years of managerial experience supporting DoD efforts

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field

Desired Skills

  • Advanced degree in Information Technology or related field
