Jackson Healthcare is looking for a hands-on Project Manager to join our Enterprise PMO team. The JH Enterprise PMO team is responsible for cross functional project/program management for the Jackson Healthcare Resource Team. This includes working closely with the resource team leaders on workflow intake, prioritization, long-term road-mapping, and day-to-day project management of individual initiatives. The Project Manager will partner with members of the JH Technology team and other resource teams, business partners, and other cross-functional teams to evaluate, plan and deliver multiple projects ranging in scope and duration.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage and immerse oneself into multiple internal strategic and tactical projects from initiation to closure.
- Guide and support workflow intake and roadmap planning in partnership with business stakeholders enabling decision-makers to discern appropriate prioritization of work
- Guide the definition of project scope, goals, tasks, roles, timelines, dependencies and resource requirements at the beginning of each project, adjusting as needed with the team throughout the project life cycle.
- Identify the business problem trying to be solved and work together with cross functional teams to facilitate the definition of business and technical requirements.
- Assemble the project team, develop a project plan and monitor/report on overall project performance and impact on budget, scope and deadlines
- Facilitate meetings and communication between the project team and business stakeholders to determine their needs to develop or adjust plans as needed
- Serve as strategic thought partner with project team and business stakeholders by sharing ideas for improvement/innovation, conflict resolution, and suggestions for next steps to progress towards overall vision
- Follow an agreed upon project management methodology.
- Guide the definition and execution of test and training plans.
- Manage project vendors and external partners as needed
- Confidently interact with senior management and ensure key stakeholders are well-informed through the project lifecycle and approve of any change in plans

Required Knowledge and Experience
- Proven proficiency in Project and Program management
- Knowledge of MS Office Tools
- Successful track record of working with business partners to identify, develop, and execute on their strategic roadmaps
- Experience designing and scoping IT solutions that meet customer needs with a realistic long-term support model
- Experience delivering high profile, high visibility IT projects simultaneously
- Experience in drafting and driving RFP's with stakeholders

Education/License/Certifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred; or other aligned coursework/experience
- PMP certification is a plus; or other project management-related certifications/ experience
Required Experience
- Minimum 5-10 years experience successfully managing projects
- Proven track record of successfully completing multiple large-scale and small-scale technology projects involving cross functional teams in a corporate environment.
