Summary of Position

The JobsOhio Beverage System (JOBS) owns an exclusive franchise for the sale of spirituous liquor in the state of Ohio (Liquor Enterprise) to fund the economic development activities of JobsOhio. JOBS is governed by a Board of Directors appointed by JobsOhio as the sole member of JOBS. JOBS partners with the Ohio Department of Commerce's Division of Liquor Control (DLC) to operate the Liquor Enterprise.

The Marketing Project Manager, JobsOhio Beverage System is responsible for leading process and managing workflow across all marketing and outreach touchpoints, including internal and external partners, to ensure projects are prioritized, scoped, assigned and delivered on time. This position will manage all JOBS internal marketing and outreach routing processes & technologies to promote accuracy, increase efficiency and improve agility including managing vendor contracts. This role will partner with cross-functional partners and functional experts to drive continuous process improvement with traffic processes & systems, and will play a key role in supporting the Senior Marketing Manager with prioritization and capacity planning for the marketing team. This includes maintaining a high level of awareness of internal stakeholder relations activities, detail-oriented program and project management insight and professional communication with key contacts as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Marketing Project Manager will be expected to ensure all marketing and outreach deliverables and projects are delivered on time. This role requires excellent relationship management skills, the ability to work cross-functionally on multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment with superior project management skills.

  • Traffic, monitor and support the development and implementation of OHLQ marketing campaigns and projects to ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Clearly communicate expected scope, timelines and milestones to stakeholders; escalate any issues and/or risk associated with projects.
  • Supports the team with prioritization of projects, on-going work and overall capacity planning.
  • Maintain an overall view of work in process as well as project specific details.
  • Support marketing related contract execution by coordinating communication between internal team members and external vendor partners, routing final contract for signatures/execution and filing with legal once fully executed.
  • Maintain marketing related contracts and scopes of work throughout lifecycle of the vendor agreements, and monitor invoices to ensure they are routed correctly and processed by the fiscal team.
  • Manage expectations of multiple projects with key stakeholders and determine priorities; course correct when necessary.
  • Synthesize projects and processes, break them down into clear and simple flow charts, calendars and communication.
  • Benchmark & pattern best practices and develop recommendations to drive continuous improvement within Marketing Operations.
  • Assist in writing, editing and proofing marketing communications.
  • Assist and support research and development of presentations, briefs and preparation of materials.
  • Support management and coordination of multiple creative vendor partners.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications

Experience Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing and communications industry; traffic, project/process management or marketing-related experience
  • Strong attention to detail, flexible, motivated and success driven.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) and comfortable engaging with all levels of management.
  • Ability to think strategically and act tactically, proficient in managing multiple tasks and deadlines concurrently and able to synthesize strategy into actionable tactics.
  • Skilled at moving from one project to the next quickly and with a sense of urgency and can manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills - ability to multi-task and prioritize work accordingly.
  • Ability to manage challenging situations and stakeholders, including agency partners.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field preferred
