Objective:

• The position's purpose is to select parts associated with an internal or external customer order in accordance with specifications on the pick ticket and to ensure the respective customer receives the correct part and quantity by verifying stock while working in both a time and cost-efficient manner. This position will operate power industrial equipment in accordance with established procedures.
• Work independently with other plant personnel to consolidate and move freight from the international pack station to country outbound staging lane after audit has been completed. Associate should ensure that all material is clean, all boxes are sealed, appropriate dunnage is used, and cartons are fully utilized. This position will operate power industrial equipment in accordance with established procedures.
• Work independently with other plant personnel to perform loading processes. They are responsible for operating material handling equipment for the purpose of moving and loading outbound and cross dock shipments in accordance with production standards. Load quality must be paramount and adhered to with minimal errors. May perform a variety of tasks related to shipping of products. All tasks will be performed while supporting the polices, goals, and objectives of the company.

The following are the job essentials or basic skills and physical demands necessary for the job. You must be able to read and write, perform basic math skills, able to communicate with written and verbal skills, with seldom to constant walking, pushing/pulling, lifting, twisting, bending, stooping, climbing, crawling, standing and reaching, and independent lifting up to 50 pounds, operate power industrial equipment, perform basic computer skills including use of keyboard and monitors, perform basic phone skills, and utilize basic office equipment in various climatic conditions.

Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned as needed):

• Receives and reads customer orders to identify item(s) to be picked and their location code
• Pick and count the correct quantity of the correct item from the correct location
• Enter appropriate information into computer systems to ensure correct inventory counts
• Moves inventory utilizing power industrial equipment (PIE)
• Keep the aisles and locations clean
• Pack the product correctly
• Locate pallets and product to the designated area for loading to take place
• Lift cartons or products up to 50 lbs.
• Adheres to and promotes all safety policies and procedures
• Must be fully trained and able to operate a PIE
• Perform loading, moving, and staging inventory
• Maintain appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy
• Report quality variances
• Perform work procedures, instructions, and safety rules
• Operate hand held RF unit and or voice pick unit
• Perform quality audit of trailer for good working condition
• Monitor product movement to trailers, coordinating activities with other workers to ensure constant product flow
• Operate equipment to transfer materials from transportation vehicles
• Record operating data such as products and quantities, manually or using computers

• Meet legal minimum age requirement
• Be authorized to be employed in the United States
• Be able to read and write
• Be able to complete basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide)
• Be able to complete basic computer skills
• Be able to work while standing for long periods of time
• Must be capable of light to heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs)
• Be willing to work overtime as needed
• High School Diploma (preferred)

• Knowledge of WMS or similar operating system
• Must be able to operate power industrial equipment
