Chemical Inventory Specialist EH&S Admin Full Time 85158BR Job Summary Under the general supervision of the Chemical Hygiene Officer, the Chemical Inventory Assistant will work as part of a team to maintain & update UCSF's chemical inventory system. Duties include performing updates of existing chemical inventories using handheld scanners; assisting with setup of new chemical inventories; barcoding chemical containers and entering information such as chemical name, physical state, & container types into the inventory system using a mobile app; providing technical support and ad hoc training to end users of the inventory system; and documenting issues discovered during the inventory reconciliation process. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $60,100 - $90,100 (Annual Rate).
