Job Opportunity: IT Support Specialist - Identity & Account Management
We're working with a client who is looking for a proactive and tech-savvy IT Support Specialist to join their team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys solving problems, supporting users, and working with a variety of technologies in a fast-paced environment. In this position, you'll provide Identity and Account Management (IAM) services for internal staff and public users of online applications. You'll also deliver Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support, manage user devices, and help ensure a seamless IT experience across the organization. What You'll Do * Support user accounts: Verify identities, reset passwords, unlock accounts, and guide users on self-service tools. * Deliver top-tier IT support: Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for internal staff. * Manage devices: Deploy, configure, and maintain laptops and desktops. * Fulfill service requests: Handle software installations and support requests efficiently. * Utilize IAM and security tools: Manage public user accounts and ensure secure access. * Document and escalate: Record support interactions and escalate complex issues when needed. * Collaborate with the team: Work closely with supervisors and peers to maintain high service quality. Tech Stack You'll Work With * Operating Systems: Windows 10/11 * Productivity Tools: Microsoft Office 365, Adobe products * Security & Access: Active Directory, VPN, multi-factor authentication * Device Management: Encryption tools, print software, and more What We're Looking For Required Skills: * Experience providing IT support in a professional environment * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite * Familiarity with identity and account management tools Nice to Have: * Experience with web-based telephony systems * Knowledge of verifying confidential credentials * Familiarity with conference room technology Soft Skills That Shine * Excellent communication and customer service skills * Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset * Ability to work independently and as part of a team Work Environment * Hybrid role with on-site presence required at least one day per week in downtown Madison Experience Level * Intermediate - ideal for someone with a solid foundation in IT support and a desire to grow. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
