Job Summary:
  • Network Security Management: Design, implement, and manage security policies using the Firepower Management Center.
  • Configuration and Maintenance: Configure and maintain Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) devices, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex network and security issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure network integrity.
  • Monitoring and Analysis: Continuously monitor network traffic using FMC to identify and mitigate potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of network configurations, security policies, and procedures.
  • Compliance: Ensure that the network security practices comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, security professionals, and other stakeholders to align security initiatives with organizational goals.
Required Qualifications:
  • Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance
  • 3+ years' experience in managing Cisco FMC and FTD systems.
  • Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with network protocols, routing, and switching.
