Contract Analyst

We are currently seeking an experienced Contract Analyst for a temporary assignment. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our client's contract management process by reviewing, negotiating, and executing designated agreements in alignment with the organization's Contract Review and Approval Policy. This position offers a flexible hybrid work schedule, to support both collaboration and work-life balance.

The Contract Analyst will report to the Senior Vice President/General Counsel or the Senior Counsel - Operations and will work closely with key business stakeholders, internal departments, and legal counsel.

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Lifecycle Management



  • Lead and manage the lifecycle of designated contracts including requests, renewals, renegotiations, amendments, and terminations.
  • Collaborate with department stakeholders and third parties to develop contracts that meet operational needs.
  • Negotiate new and existing agreements, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to facilitate timely and effective contract execution.
  • Ensure all contracts are valued at fair market value and comply with the operational policies.


Operational & Compliance Oversight



  • Monitor contract performance, particularly compliance with compensation and operational terms.
  • Serve as a resource for interpreting contract terms and assisting departments with implementation.
  • Coordinate with accounting and operational teams to ensure adherence to contract terms.


Research & Special Projects



  • Conduct research and data analysis as assigned by the Office of the General Counsel/Risk Management.
  • Prepare reports and summaries to support legal and business decision-making.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in contract management or legal operations.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience developing and implementing systems and processes.
  • Proven ability to draft and interpret complex contract language.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare terminology and operations is preferred.
  • Experience with developing database tools and generating reports.
