Conformal Operative - 3rd Shift

The Conformal Operative - 3rd Shift will create
conformal prep components (conformals), cushions, and other custom products by
adhering to established procedures and provided diagrams.

Our Conformal Prep department in Belleville, IL is now looking for a Conformal Operative - 3rd Shift.

Pay Range: $18/hr plus $1.50/hr shift differential


Key Tasks

PRODUCES QUALITY PRODUCT BY:
Adding strips to required c-prep conformals; using
scissors to remove all non-complying cells or rows of cells; using adhesive to
replace cells or rows of cells on conformals; using adhesive to replace cells
of cushions; reading and interpreting custom diagrams to build product; piecing
together multiple conformals using scissors and adhesive; prepping custom
orders according to written instructions and/or diagrams.

MAINTAINS
EFFICIENT WORK FLOW BY:
Creating
work orders and amend details of work orders; creating customs build list for
assembly.

SUPPORTS OPERATIONS BY:
Cutting, trimming, and sanding solid seat inserts and
contour bases; trimming customs; taping key chain conformals; operating the
clicker-press to cut various accessory items. Using tablet and configurator to
assemble customs at the mandrel build station.

MAINTAINS
CUSTOM INVENTORY BY:
Accurately tracking recovered parts and dip-to-parts;
labeling correct inventory numbers on boxes.

MAINTAINS QUALITY SERVICE BY:
Keeping error rates minimal
and within acceptable ranges; maintaining an efficient work pace; meeting and
exceeding all performance measurements: quantity, accuracy, timeliness, and
thoroughness of work performed. Ensure that all issues/questions are answered
before sending work to the next station

Your Background

  • No
    prior experience or training is required; ROHO experience and product knowledge
    preferred
  • Ability
    to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, custom
    diagrams, and memos. Ability to write
    simple correspondence. Ability to
    effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to
    customers, clients, and/or other employees of the organization. Ability to read
    and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance
    instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Routine duties are
    performed with minimal supervision; standard practices or procedures allow
    employee to proceed alone at routine work; occasional check of work while in
    progress; work is reviewed upon completion
