Schedule

Monday - Friday | 6 AM - 2:30 PM | $23 per hour

Requirements



  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of experience in production/inventory control, purchasing, warehousing, or manufacturing
  • Effective communication skills
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Word/Excel
  • Knowledge of manufacturing terminology and protocol



Production Coordinator Summary

The Onsite Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the execution of the master production schedule for assigned manufactured items, ensuring alignment with production goals, and collaborating with all relevant teams to maximize customer service performance and ensure on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Schedule Execution & Issue Resolution:



  • Support schedule attainment by identifying and addressing material and resource shortages, resolving roadblocks, expediting purchased parts, and reprioritizing work centers as needed.


Manufacturing Order Management:



  • Manage MRP-generated manufacturing order recommendations using AS400 reports (e.g., release, expedite, defer, cancel), and re-create missing work orders when necessary.


Order & Demand Management:



  • Review and resolve daily demand drop-ins and work with relevant teams to ensure accurate material availability and estimated completion dates.


Work Order Accuracy & Documentation:



  • Ensure work orders are accurate and updated to reflect current engineering revisions, planning decisions, and job statuses. Retrieve and destroy outdated or deviated job packets as needed.


Planning & Communication:



  • Notify the Master Scheduler of delayed parts to reduce disruptions and support schedule stability. Communicate discrepancies in planning data (e.g., BOMs, routings) outside your area of responsibility.


Data Integrity & Maintenance:



  • Maintain accurate planning parameters such as order quantities, lead times, lot sizes, and safety stock levels. Update departmental knowledge bases as assigned.


Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:



  • Participate in departmental meetings, provide feedback on procedural or material issues, and maintain a service-oriented approach with internal and external stakeholders.
