DevOps Strategy Lead

About the role

As a DevOps architect you will make an impact by support the team with you knowdleg in the field, You will be a valued member of the team and work collaboratively with [manager, primary team, or other stakeholders and teams].

In this role, you will:

  • * Lead the design and implementation of DevOps strategies that align with organizational goals and enhance operational efficiency.
  • * Oversee the integration of OT Exstream CE Orchestrator and OT Exstream Cloud Edition into existing systems to streamline workflows.
  • * Provide technical guidance and support to development teams ensuring best practices in DevOps methodologies are followed.
  • * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues improving system reliability and performance.
  • * Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines to facilitate continuous integration and delivery.
  • * Monitor system performance and implement improvements to optimize resource utilization and reduce downtime.
  • * Ensure compliance with industry standards and security protocols to protect company data and assets.
  • * Drive innovation by exploring new technologies and tools that can enhance DevOps processes and outcomes.
  • * Facilitate knowledge sharing and training sessions to empower team members with the latest DevOps techniques.
  • * Analyze system logs and metrics to proactively identify potential issues and implement preventive measures.
  • * Support the hybrid work model by ensuring seamless remote access and collaboration tools are in place.
  • * Contribute to the company's purpose by optimizing processes that lead to faster and more reliable product releases.
  • * Impact society by ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet customer needs. Qualifications

Work model: Remote or Hybrid at New York , NY.

Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in New York, NY. What you need to have to be considered

* Possess extensive experience with OT Exstream CE Orchestrator and OT Exstream Cloud Edition demonstrating proficiency in their application.

* Have a strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices with a proven track record of successful implementations.

* Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

* Demonstrate expertise in automated deployment and continuous integration tools and techniques.

* Show commitment to staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in DevOps.

* Display strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

* Hold a bachelor's degree in computer science information technology or a related field.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until July 15th 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $120,500 - $142,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
