Manage and deliver import and export advice to multinational enterprises across various industries, particularly as they relate to the movement of tangible goods in global cross border transactions. Identify cost-saving opportunities for multinational enterprises with respect to their global supply chains. Identify broader areas of potential risk and opportunities in international tax, value-added tax, excise tax and transfer pricing for clients. Research, write and review U.S. and international import and export trade advice. Manage and deliver correspondence to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) with respect to customs valuation and pricing regulations, arm's length pricing compliance and other customs matters. Monitor U.S. technical CBP developments and correspond with clients regarding their application to trade issues. Pursue business development opportunities. Establish and maintain client relationships and professional networks. WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.) JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Economics, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Economics, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience. Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience with the following: Advising multinational corporations, on the U.S. international tax consequences of in-bound and out-bound shipments ; Applying duty and other import/export fees; Advising multinational corporations on the global indirect tax implications of cross-border tangible goods shipments; Reviewing and assessing trade and customs pricing; Developing strategies for corporate clients, structuring the import/export transactions of international shipments to comply with import/export regulations. Travel to various locations throughout the U.S required up to 20%. Travel to various locations internationally required up to 10%.
