Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$20.16 - $20.16 / hour

The Utilization Management Patient Account Representative provides various services supporting utilization management processes including insurance authorizations, denials prevention, denials tracking and notifications, staff scheduling, productivity reporting and 3rd party payer, patient communication and clerical services. Requires detailed, organized and flexible prioritization and service.

Education:High School diploma or GED equivalency required.

Experience:Minimum of 1-year recent hospital or healthcare experience required. 3rd party payor experience preferred or Knowledge of EPIC EMR and medical terminology.

Other:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, analytical, grammar and spelling skills. Must be able to accurately type a minimum of 30 words per minute. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook). Ability to effectively multi-task responsibilities. Strong organizational and time management skills. Able to prioritize tasks and work independently.
