Summary of Job Duties:Departmental/Clinical
* Provide direction of the clinical schedule based on clinical site availability and faculty input.
* Provide appropriate clinical placement for students based on course requirements.
* Schedule and monitor student orientation and student logins for all clinical sites.
* Assist in clinical, lab, and simulation instruction.
* Maintain current clinical affiliation relationships and seek new clinical sites to meet course and program learning outcomes.
* Maintain an up-to-date list of clinical site representatives and contact information.
* Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with clinical site agencies.
* Distribute student clinical rotation lists to each facility prior to clinical and update as schedule changes.
* Serve as the clinical liaison between the nursing programs and clinical agencies, including traveling and visiting each clinical site on a regular basis.
* Ensure compliance with requirements of clinical affiliation agreements.
* Ensure annual renewal of clinical affiliation agreements.
* Maintain student compliance records and database; create and distribute required reports (ex. required immunizations, CPR training, fit testing, etc.).
* Schedule clinical site representatives each semester for Recruitment Day.
* Assume active involvement in the advisory committee for nursing.
* Assist with student recruitment, advisement and promote student retention.
* Ensure a safe and healthy work environment, comply with college health and safety policies, practices, and programs in keeping with occupational health & safety legislation and regulation.

Adjunct Faculty
* Recruit, onboard, and orient nursing adjunct faculty to UACCB.
* Schedule, monitor, and evaluate the orientation of adjunct faculty in the lab/clinical settings.
* Manage complaints regarding adjunct faculty, including counseling, remediation, or relief from job duties.
* Develop and direct an adjunct faculty meeting each semester.
* Encourage faculty development and makes recommendations for in-service training.

Students
* Maintain Clinical Issues database for approval body visits, program assessment, trending, and performance improvement.
* Manage the Schedule Request Change process for students and accommodate as possible.
* Communicate efficiently and effectively with students regarding clinical issues, schedule issues, or quality of instruction by adjunct faculty.
* Assist with ASBN registration process for each cohort.
* Coordinate and schedule graduation photography day and fingerprinting day between allied health areas.
* Coordinate community service events with students such as participation in health fairs, etc.

College Wide Responsibilities
* Abide by all college policies and procedures.
* Serve on assigned committees and task forces as necessary.
* Assist in conducting activities that support the mission of the department and the college.
* Attend in service and professional development activities as scheduled.
* Model professional standards, including customer service, collaboration, communication, excellence, attendance, and related.
* Participate in college and community activities, department and division meetings, planning, and shared governance activities.
* Other duties as assigned. Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* Must hold a valid, unencumbered registered nursing license with privilege to practice in Arkansas.
* Two or more years' experience in clinical nursing.
* Ability to work effectively and collegially with colleagues.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher.
* Experience in the academic setting preferred.
* Knowledge of and experience with accreditation bodies.

Salary Information:

$56,000-60,000
