Job Summary

Provides immediate supervision to a unit or group of employees. Assigns tasks and monitors work at frequent intervals. Maintains schedules and workflow of the team.

Responsibilities

Management


  • Provides immediate supervision to semi-skilled support teammembers. Assigns tasks and monitors work at frequent intervals. Maintains schedules and workflow of the team

  • Manages personnel details to include salaries, positioning, hire/fire, reviews, coaching and training


Project / Infrastructure Site Management


  • Plans, coordinates, budgets, and implements resources to complete projects and maintenance within the datacenters. Executes specified routine tasks. Meets unit targets typically against a weekly plan

  • Provides input and guidance towards budget

  • Overall site capacity supervision


Vendor Management

  • Oversees contractor work and operations to ensure completion to Equinix's required standards.

Testing

  • Assists with start up tests, documenting and reporting all problems

Incident Management

  • Communicates and coordinates activities and on-site staff during an incident

Qualifications


  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience or equivalent work experience (5+)

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
