Could you be the full-time onsite Buyer in Newark, NJ, US (Newark Airport) we're looking for?

Your future role

"Take on a new challenge and apply your supply chain and procurement expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside collaborative and forward-thinking teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless project execution by managing material budgets, optimizing procurement strategies, and driving supplier performance. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (Project Management, Engineering, Quality, and Logistics), coordinate supplier negotiations and contracts, and improve procurement processes to achieve operational excellence, and much more."

We'll look to you for:




  • Executing purchase contracts for the project. ,



  • Improving procurement and logistic routines and tools to ensure slim, fast, and efficient processes. ,



  • Preparing, establishing, and managing Long Lead Items Planning in alignment with Project Procurement Strategies and Supply Management Plans. ,



  • Supporting logistics in planning and sharing project demand. ,



  • Coordinating and analyzing RFI/RFP/RFQ, including commercial and technical requirements, with relevant functions, commodity buyers, and commodity managers, as well as evaluating and selecting suppliers' offers. ,



  • Managing invoice handling to ensure timely payment to suppliers. ,



  • Solving Supply Management issues and being responsive to internal customers (PM, Engineering, Quality). ,



  • Ensuring Project needs relating to material delivery and quality performance are met. ,



  • Liaising with relevant Functions, Contract Management, and Commodity Managers to address supplier performance problems or prepare claims to suppliers." ,



  • Taking an active part in commercial and technical meetings, while alerting stakeholders on incomplete or missing technical specifications.

  • Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field (or functional equivalents of education and experience). ,



  • Experience or understanding of buying, procurement, supply chain, or logistics (4 years preferred). ,



  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite (required). ,



  • Familiarity with SAP or other similar ERP systems (desired). ,



  • Strong communication and negotiation skills. ,



  • Ability to manage material budgets and supplier relationships effectively. ,



  • Analytical thinking to evaluate and select suppliers' offers. ,



  • Resilience and adaptability to solve supply management issues. ,



  • Time management skills to handle workload and meet deadlines. ,



  • A continuous learning mindset to improve procurement processes and tools.

Salary Range- 90-95K
