The Security Supervisor plays a critical leadership role in maintaining a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This role oversees daily operations and the performance of Security Officers, ensuring consistent compliance with hospital policies and emergency protocols.

Responsibilities:
* Supervise and support Security Officers to ensure effective post coverage and operational integrity
* Investigate security incidents requiring immediate attention and determine appropriate course of action
* Conduct hospital patrols and provide on-site guidance in emergency and high-risk situations
* Train new Security Officers on job duties, protocols, and hospital regulations
* Assign daily post coverage, manage vacation and day-off schedules, and process roll calls
* Ensure all staff adhere to Security Department policies and Montefiore regulations
* Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and external agencies including NYPD
* Liaise with Human Resources to obtain personnel details as needed for investigations
* Work closely with hospital departments (e.g., Nursing, Administration) to resolve safety issues

Requirements:
* High school diploma or GED required
* Minimum 1-3 years of security and/or supervisory experience
* Valid NYS Security Guard License required
* NYS Driver's License preferred
* Law enforcement background preferred
* HEARTSAVER First Aid, CPR, and AED certification
* Strong knowledge of security protocols, incident response, and hospital safety standards
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office and security systems (e.g., Aware Manager)
* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Shift: Sunday - Thursday 0730A - 0400P
