Electronic Control Technician

Schedule:

  • Enjoy 3 day weekends every other week while working a 2/2/3, 12-hour shift schedule. Hours are 6:00pm to 6:00am and an example of the schedule is listed below:

  • Training is Monday - Friday, day shift and transitions to your appointed shift upon completion.
  • Occasional overtime and weekend shifts may be required to support critical deadlines-offering a great opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects and earn additional income.

  • Starting hourly pay rate of $39.73 with $1.80 shift differential for night shift.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH:

  • Maintain and troubleshoot Production PLC's, database systems, control networks, instrumentation, and electrical systems (480V and below).
  • Provide assistance to maintenance modifications and improvements as needed.Includes but not limited to:
    • Substations and MCC's, including knowledge of 480 volt, three phase, and 120 VAC, 24VDC control and power systems
    • PLC's and HMI systems
    • Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
    • Building Automation System (BAS)
    • Utility Management System (UMS)
    • Energy Management System (EMS)
    • Control System Networks (EtherNet, ControlNet, EtherNet and instrument digital bus systems)
  • Systematic change control on PLC programs
  • Backup MES data, automation application program, system/device/instrument configuration.
  • Calibration of instruments, prepare calibration procedure and maintain calibration database.
  • Analyze line performance data from various systems and provide improvement support based on findings and analysis.Work with Process Control Engineers to implement.
  • Support other maintenance troubleshooting and line maintenance as needed.
  • Lead CDM and Improvement teams

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years Industrial Maintenance Experience required.
  • Requires high school diploma or GED
  • Experience with automation systems for building, facility, utility, and process controls preferred
  • Experience with Allen Bradley ControlLogix PLCs and electrical work
  • Experience on development or troubleshooting of Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems.
