Job Responsibilities
- Execute the business plan consistent with short- and long-term objectives related to growth. Manage sales plans and marketing strategies to support Company's objectives
- Assist in the development of the sales forecasts for the business on a monthly rolling basis through analysis and interpretation of general economics, specific market trends, government legislation, sales data, etc.
- Recommend programs and policies by analyzing the changing needs of the market, identifying and anticipating trends, and evaluating options
- Inform management team of competitors' activities and recommend a strategy
- Determine target markets for growth. Identify and develop potential Company customers. Market Company products and services to prospective and existing customers, including making presentations and demonstrations
- Visit prospective, new, and existing customers on a regular basis to assess needs and to foster good customer relations. Make recommendations to management based on customer feedback
- Attract, hire and motivate the highest caliber marketing and sales professionals internally or externally through sales representatives
- Maintain contacts with customers, other corporations, business associations, government agencies, and others. Represent the Company at technical, social, and business events
- Participate in market research studies
- Conduct sales training and customer relations programs
- Identify appropriate national and international trade shows and exhibition activities. Coordinate participation in these activities with appropriate personnel
- In conjunction with Communications Department, may prepare press releases and articles for trade journals to publicize Company products and services and to create good will for the Company
- Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
- Participate in marketing and trade shows

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline with a minimum of 7 years of sales experience
- Demonstrated sales management and marketing experience
- Ability to manage multiple selling and marketing units
- Working knowledge of accounting, manufacturing procedures, data processing, quality control procedures and engineering.
- Knowledge of company's product line, its specialized applications, and its potential
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills both written and oral
- Excellent presentation skills
