Unit Director, St Mary's Acute Unit SURGICAL ACUTE Full Time 85290BR Job Summary The St. Mary's Acute Care Telemetry Unit Director provides strategic and operational leadership for two dynamic inpatient nursing units, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care. This role is responsible for clinical oversight, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance, leveraging data to drive performance outcomes and identifying opportunities for improvement. The director implements evidence-based practices, leads course correction efforts in response to quality or safety trends, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and excellence. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $253,900 - $269,400 (Annual Rate). The St. Mary Telemetry unit is a 30-bed telemetry unit that cares for a diverse patient population requiring an elevated level of monitoring or specialized telemetry care. Both units are staffed with a dedicated team of nurses and ancillary care partners to ensure the highest quality of care. Required Qualifications
