Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM- 5 PM

Location: Onsite - 1721 N Lee Trevino Dr, Bldg. B, El Paso, TX 79936

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Provides patient care under the direct supervision of the Physical Therapist and in accordance with the patient's written plan of care
  • Verify that therapy services have been authorized approved by the payer when applicable
  • Track the number of approved visits and/or treatments and notify the Physical Therapist of the corresponding status
  • As instructed by the Physical Therapist, assists the patients with their assigned modalities and/or exercises to ensure comprehension, proper technique, and patient safety, in accordance with the written plan of care
  • Notify the Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant if the patient reports any discomfort, increased pain, light-headedness, weakness, or other unexpected symptom(s) while performing the exercises
  • Assist with appointment scheduling as needed to meet patients' needs, minimize wait times, and facilitate efficient use of resources
  • Assist with registration and/or check-out procedures as needed
  • Work cooperatively with the Therapy and Clinic teams to facilitate open communication, ensure prompt delivery of care, and promote excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Communicate unexpected delays/wait times to patients in the therapy treatment and exercise areas
  • Ensure that the lobby, treatment and exercise areas are tidy and clean throughout the shift to promote a pleasant environment for both patients and staff
  • Decontaminate therapy equipment, examination tables, and other surfaces prior to and after each patient use as per manufacturer guidelines and/or company policies and standard operating procedures (SOP)
  • File/retrieve patient records as applicable
  • Maintain the highest standards of professional conducts
  • Comply with Bloodborne Pathogens and Hazard Communication standards
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
  • Intermediate level of verbal communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to learn and demonstrate proficiency of learned therapy-related tasks at the completion of training
  • Ability to learn and become proficient with approved Practice Management System (PMS), Electronic Health Record (EHR) and other applications as needed to meet the needs of the business


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Demonstrate excellent planning, organizational, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • Strong prioritization and time management skills



Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $27.69 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
