SUMMARY The Associate Director-Operations is responsible for managing the performance of multiple manufacturing facilities including safety, quality, environmental, production, conversion costs and compliance with divisional and other corporate policies and procedures. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Leads and manages Plant Managers for multiple sites based on common products, technologies, and geography.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Employee will be required to travel up to 50% of the time. WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, extreme heat, and risk of electrical shock. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places and vibration. The work environment at the facilities can include excessive noise levels, exposure to weather elements, working around or adjacent to moving and mobile equipment and climbing ladders. Appropriate personal protective equipment including hearing protection, steel toe shoes safety glasses and/or hard hats may be required while working in a facility.
