Lawrence Berkeley National Lab's (LBNL) Advanced Light Source (ALS) Division has an opening for a Project Scientist to join the team. In this exciting role, you will report to the Spin and Electric Correlation Lead and PI on the Timepix Project funded by the DOE Scientific User Facilities Division, the Project Scientist incumbent will be responsible for the commissioning of a new high-vacuum Timepix based soft X-ray detector developed specifically for performing nanosecond X-ray Photon Correlation Spectroscopy. In this role, you will join a small world-class team conducting X-ray Photon Correlation Spectroscopy and coherent X-ray scattering experiments on a wide variety of condensed matter systems. This is a limited scope appointment of approximately 5 months in duration and will start on August 2, 2025, and promptly end on or before December 31, 2025. What You Will Do:
