FMTV Field Service Representative (50% - 75% Travel)

Location: Starke, Florida (Gainesville area)

STS Technical Services is hiring Traveling Field Service Representatives to support the maintenance, repair, and training efforts of U.S. military vehicle platforms. If you're mechanically skilled, comfortable on the road, and passionate about mission-driven work, this role puts your experience to meaningful use-both at home and abroad.

FSRs serve as the go-to resource for keeping military vehicle fleets ready for action. Once fully trained, you'll be responsible for providing OPNET / FLMNET instruction, in-field diagnostics, and on-the-ground repair support. You'll also guide soldiers and maintenance teams on best practices, proper procedures, and parts management. The role is equal parts technical expertise and operational support.

Important Note: All candidates must live within 50 miles of Starke, Florida (Gainesville region).

• Deliver field-level support and technical assistance for military vehicle platforms
  
• Conduct diagnostics, repairs, and servicing on light and heavy wheeled defense vehicles
  
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve issues and expedite parts or repairs
  
• Support military operations by preparing parts recommendations and maintenance schedules
  
• Instruct personnel on the correct operation and servicing of mission-critical vehicle systems
  
• Deploy for both domestic and international support missions as needed
  
• Administer field warranty programs and document repair activities
  

• Active Class A or Class B CDL
  
• At least 5 years of experience maintaining military wheeled vehicles (light or heavy)
  
• Willing and able to travel extensively (up to 75%)
  
• Active U.S. passport valid for at least 5 years
  
• Ability to obtain NACI-level security clearance
  
• Valid U.S. driver's license
  
• High school diploma or equivalent
  

• 5-10 years of military mechanic experience highly preferred
  
• Hands-on experience with JLTV, FMTV, HETT, HEMTT, or similar military platforms
  
• Associate degree or certification in vehicle service, diesel technology, or heavy equipment repair
