Position Summary:

As a Maintenance Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility and all equipment on-site. You will be responsible for optimizing the effectiveness of the SAP maintenance system, including editing, planning, and scheduling work orders, maintaining master data, tracking measurements, and managing the AMM system for maintenance and troubleshooting.

In this role, you will prepare efficient and effective work plans for all preventive, predictive, condition-based, and project/backlog maintenance tasks. You will collaborate closely with the Technical Stores Team to ensure that parts are readily available and that both internal and external labor resources are aligned. Additionally, you will coordinate the execution of maintenance plans in conjunction with the production schedule, working alongside the Production Scheduler to ensure timely operations.You will also support our electro-mechanical technicians by providing expert guidance and fostering open communication throughout the maintenance team. Your proactive approach will help identify and escalate potential issues before they become problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the SAP maintenance system, including equipment setup and cost reporting.
  • Oversee the preventative maintenance system and Planning and Scheduling KSR, which involves editing and creating new preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Gather the necessary information to effectively plan maintenance activities and coordinate equipment downtime with production schedules.
  • Assist in prioritizing and escalating critical tasks as needed.Integrate predictive maintenance routines into the Planning and Scheduling KSR and AMM system.
  • Coordinate external contractor support required for facility maintenance.
  • Publish the weekly maintenance schedule.Perform master data entry and create Functional Location (FLOC) records within the AMM system.
  • Monitor work order completion, backlog, and schedule compliance to ensure the overall health of the maintenance systems.

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 3 years of related work experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing, maintenance, or engineering environment is required.
  • 3 years of experience working as a mechanic or in a hands-on capacity is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems (e.g., SAP, Maximo, MP2, MLS, etc.) is required.
  • Experience in the food industry is preferred.
  • Experience as a Maintenance Planner is preferred, including effective planning and coordination of maintenance activities while considering production schedules and standard maintenance-related activities (budgeting, safety permits, coordination with operational areas, tracking maintenance KPIs, etc.)
  • Exposure to maintenance planning techniques and execution is desirable.Participation in the coordination and planning of maintenance activities, considering SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment), food safety, and constraints to optimize the coordination of all maintenance efforts.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical processes, equipment, and electrical systems.
  • Must possess a continuous improvement mindset and be familiar with maintenance improvement methodologies; prior experience working with site or corporate engineers is a plus.
  • Open to new methods and opportunities, with a detail-oriented approach to accurately recording information.

The approximate pay range for this position is $82,000.00 to $95,000.00 .Please note that thepay rangeprovided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
