Position Objective: The Branch SI&OP, is responsible for supporting the branch network to coordinate the logistics, inventory and operations planning of products. Works along with Regional Branch Managers to forecast levels of inventory and to create logistics plans to minimize freight costs. Support improvements in service and inventory management Primary Responsibilities
- Manages USA Branch Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) activities for branch network in parallel with Corporate SIOP team's monthly calendar, communicates key priorities, and facilitates the best use of inventory in branches and an overall logistics plan to minimize freight costs.
- Provides analysis and recommendations to senior leadership team on sales forecast and demand planning, while driving process improvements to enable profitable growth.
- Ensures product forecasting meets sales demand, including purchase order management for timely inventory shipment and customer fulfillment.
- Works closely with regional and segment sales leaders on S&OP processes to ensure adequate sales pipeline interpretation and communication each month.
- Manages branch product distribution schedules to mitigate partial shipments and minimize LTL freight shipments- by looking at the entire branch network and organizing purchase RFQs accordingly
- Creates and maintains Branch-wide SIOP dashboard highlighting KPIs relating to demand/forecast accuracy, inventory levels / inventory turns, working capital, and other metrics determined by manager or Senior Leadership.
- Analyzes and discusses alternatives with multiple stakeholders; branch management, plant management, and freight carriers.
- Anticipates special issues and considerations for effective decision-making during a crisis and urgent customer need situations.
- Fosters strong internal customer relationships via delivery on commitments, open communication, and on-going feedback/improvement.
- Advises others on creating customer focused environments in various scenarios.
- Anticipates customer needs, focusing efforts to proactively meet needs and exceed customer expectations.
- Measures and observes customer satisfaction levels to ascertain and implement service improvement alternatives.
- Communicates and models the criticality of customer focus as an organizational strategy.

- Due to the nature of this role, overnight domestic travel up to 25% is expected for collaboration across branch and manufacturing locations

Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience
- Knowledge of successful negotiation concepts and techniques; ability to negotiate successfully across the organization and with external vendors and clients in a constructive and collaborative manner
- Experience in warehouse operations activities
- Proficiency with warehouse procedures and policies
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is critical for the success of this role including data analysis, pivot tables, data cleansing / validation, and modeling for trends and/or changes over multiple periods of time.
- Strong proficiency in the ERP system of record for the Branch network which is SAP. The successful candidate must understand general SAP transactions for purchase order review, open orders, inventory on-hand, and demand management.
- This role will login daily in AAF's demand management software NETSTOCK for input and review of forecasts.
- This role will access reporting and data from Qlik View.
